CANTON, N.Y. - For the second straight year, Western New England College is headed to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship. Senior Jon Hayes (Waltham, MA) tallied a career high nine points on seven goals and two assists as the 15th-ranked Golden Bears posted a 13-9 victory over No. 10 St. Lawrence Saturday afternoon (May 10) in a second-round contest at North Country Field.

Plattsburgh, N.Y. — The Endicott College softball team was defeated, 3-1, in the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament Championship by Cortland State at Cardinal Park in Plattsburgh, N.Y. on Sunday.

BRISTOL, R.I.- The Roger Williams University baseball team defeated Mass Maritime Academy, 11-3, Sunday, to win the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Championship. RWU freshman Zach Porter (Middleboro, Mass.) was named the tournament’s most outstanding player.
