2009-10 TCCC Academic All-Conference

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (May 28, 2010) - A total of 378 student-athletes were named to The Commonwealth Coast Conference 2009-2010 Academic All-Conference Team, announced Friday by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. All 14 institutions in The Commonwealth Coast Conference were represented on the Academic All-Conference Team.
Anne Cowles named TCCC Woman of the Year

Cowles, a four-year field hockey player for the Nor'easters, was one of four TCCC nominees. She will move on to the next phase of the process when 10 student-athletes from each division of the NCAA will be selected. From there, the top three in each division will be identified. The top 10 honorees for each division and the nine finalists from Divisions I, II and III will be honored at a dinner in Indianapolis on October 17, 2010. The 2010 NCAA Woman of the Year will be announced at that event.
Matt Pettinicchi Promoted to Assistant Commissioner for Sports Information

Following a successful three-year stint as Sports Information Coordinator for The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC), Matt Pettinicchi has been promoted to Assistant Commissioner for Sports Information, it was announced by Commissioner Gregg Kaye.
