MATT PETTINICCHI PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER FOR SPORTS INFORMATION

Following a successful three-year stint as Sports Information Coordinator for The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC), Matt Pettinicchi has been promoted to Assistant Commissioner for Sports Information, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg Kaye.

“Matt has been an invaluable asset to The Commonwealth Coast Conference over the past three years,” Kaye stated.”His service to both the conference office and our 14 member institutions has been exemplary and I am delighted that our Board of Directors has rewarded Matt with this promotion. Matt has helped raise the bar significantly in our daily and ongoing sports information efforts. He is highly respected by our institutional sports information directors and I am delighted that the Conference is able to reward him for his outstanding service to our institutions and our student-athletes.”

A 2007 graduate of TCCC member Western New England College, Pettinicchi joined the TCCC staff in August 2007. He will continue to oversee the TCCC sports information department, including website maintenance, NCAA statistics reporting and expanding the Conference’s presence across social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter. Pettinicchi will continue to play a significant role in administering conference championships and the TCCC award program.

In addition to his role with the Conference, Pettinicchi also serves as coordinator of the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III weekly coaches poll.
