Roger Williams Selected as Favorite to Win 2007 TCCC Men's Soccer Championship 8/30/2007

Defending three-time Commonwealth Coast Champion Roger Williams has been selected as the favorite to win the 2007 Commonwealth Coast Conference men’s soccer championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league’s head men’s soccer coaches.
Roger Williams (13-6-2, 9-1-1 TCCC) received seven of the 13 first-place votes in the 2007 TCCC preseason poll. Western New England and Wentworth tied for second in overall points, while Western New England collected four first-place votes and Wentworth tallied the remaining two first-place votes. Salve Regina and New England College were selected fourth and fifth, respectively.
Teams received 13 points for every first place vote received, 12 points for second place votes, 11 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parenthesis.
