The Commonwealth Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship began play as the #6 Curry Colonels knocked-off the #3 Western New England Golden Bears in an exciting 11-10 match, while the #2 seed Roger Williams advanced with a 21-8 win over the #7 University of New England.  Late action saw the #1 Endicott Gulls defeat the # 8 Colby-Sawyer Chargers 21-8, and the #5 New England College Pilgrims hang on to a 13-12 win in overtime over #4 Gordon.

The semifinal round of play will take place on Thursday, May 1, as the #2 Roger Williams Hawks will play host to the #6 Curry Colonels  at 4:00 p.m. in Bristol, R.I., while the #2 Endicott Gulls will take on the #5 New England College Pilgrims at 7:00 p.m. in Beverly, Mass. as part of a men's/women's lacrosse doubleheader.

The two semifinal winners will then meet to in The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship on Saturday, May 2.  The match-up is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start, which is subject to change should one institution play host to a men's/women's lacrosse doubleheader.
