TCCC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week (Apr. 26, 2010)

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK –  Endicott College senior attacker Kristen Micho (Syracuse, N.Y.) led the Gulls in scoring in both conference contests this week to help seal the #1 seed in the upcoming TCCC playoffs. Micho netted four goals and dished out two assists in a 21-9 win over Salve Regina, then tallied another four goal performance with an assist in a 15-6 victory at Curry to close out the regular season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK –  Endicott College sophomore goalkeeper Leah Neff (South Berwick, Maine) backstopped the Gulls to another perfect week in TCCC play, closing out the regular season at 11-0 in conference. Neff made 12 saves in a 21-9 win over Salve Regina and notched 14 saves in the regular season finale, a 15-6 victory at Curry.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – University of New England freshman midfielder Cara Cole (Norwood, Mass.) helped the Nor’easters close out the regular season with a 2-0 week in TCCC play by tallying eight points. Cole scored a pair of goals and added an assist in a 12-11 win over Gordon, and followed up by registering five goals in a 14-4 victory over Nichols.
