Endicott College has earned the top seed for The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) women’s lacrosse championship, which begins with quarterfinal round games on Saturday, May 1.

The Gulls (13-4 overall) claimed the top seed in the conference tournament after posting an unblemished 11-0 record in TCCC play. Endicott will open the tournament with a quarterfinal matchup against #8 seed Salve Regina (7-10 overall, 4-6 TCCC) Beverly, Mass.

Three other quarterfinal games are also slated for Saturday, May 1, including #2 seed Roger Williams (12-4, 9-2) hosting #7 seed Colby-Sawyer (6-10, 5-6) in Bristol, R.I., #3 seed University of New England (11-4, 9-2) hosting #6 seed Gordon (5-8, 5-6) in Biddeford, Maine, and #4 seed Western New England (10-7, 8-3) hosting #5 seed Curry (12-5, 8-3) in Springfield, Mass.

TCCC tiebreaking procedures were also used to determine the #2, #4, #6 and #8 seeds. Quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinal round on Wednesday, May 5.
