TCCC Women's Lacrosse Championship; Endicott, Roger Williams, UNE, and WNEC advance to semifinals

The Commonwealth Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship began play as all four higher seeds came away victorious. #1 Endicott advanced with a 23-5 win over #8 Salve Regina, while #2 Roger Williams defeated #7 Colby-Sawyer 14-6.  The third seeded University of New England knocked-off #6 Gordon 14-10, and the fourth seeded Western New England picked up a 10-7 win over #5 Curry.

The semifinal round of play will take place on Wednesday, May 5, as the #2 seed Roger Williams will play host to the #3 University of New England  at 4:00 p.m. in Bristol, R.I., while the #1 Endicott Gulls will take on the #4 Western New England at 7:00 p.m. in Beverly, Mass. as part of a men's/women's lacrosse doubleheader.

The two semifinal winners will then meet to in The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship on Saturday, May 8.  The match-up is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start, which is subject to change should one institution play host to a men's/women's lacrosse doubleheader.
